REALLY IMPORTANT WARNING:
You need very basic knowledge of Photoshop to understand this tutorial. You hide a layer by clicking the eye next to it, you duplicate a layer by right-clicking it and choosing "duplicate layer".

Anyway! Here's my first tutorial ever. I did my best, but your critique would be super helpful!
It's a tutorial to help you animate GIFs in Adobe Photoshop. It has a very simple part and an explanation of filter animations

Bad coloring

The yellow text was hard to read over the parts of the background that got more yellow. Also, it would have been helpful to say what version of photoshop you are using.

Mariofan9 responds:

I see. That's a pretty scathing score for so few flaws pointed out, though.

OR...

Or you could just make an animation on Flash and save it as a GIF :). Good tutorial anyways, you know what you're doing :D

Mariofan9 responds:

But then you couldn't pull off the fancy filter crap! :P
It's true that Flash is the overlord of animation, but it's still good to have a broad Photoshop skillset.

great job

2 bad i dont have photshop

Mariofan9 responds:

Uh thanks, but how can you judge my Flash if you don't?

Great tutorial

Simplistic , fun and very helpful. I great addition to the portal. Deserves a 9 for the adding THE KING into it. Great job.

Mariofan9 responds:

Ah, thank you.
