Difficult and addictive.

I was wondering if there was any next 'stage' or 'boss' but 1000+ points later and no sign of a conclusion, it feels a bit pointless surviving past the first millenia of point scoring, and the more than vague 'score submission' makes me wonder whether or not my efforts are in vain. The music stops after a while which leaves a noticable emptiness, and I have absolutely no idea what the powerups (if that is what they are) are meant to achieve except to sport a cunning blue aura around your craft. A fair enough effort, some tweaking would be greatly appreciated for some lasting appeal.
