Headspin: Space Race

Hi everyone,

Here's our new brain tickling puzzler - Headspin: Space Race! A sequel to our last game Headspin: Storybook, it's a pop up book you can play with. You must flip the objects so both sides mirror each other, and this time you're helping our valiant Space Adventurers in their quest to reach the stars. It's based on all those cool sci-fi things we love, and inspired by comic and popup books too, which we've started to fill our studio with.

We've added loads of new things to this one, more objects, more detail, more fiendish puzzles, an exciting story, plus a sweeping interactive music score. It's full of different puzzles each time you open the book, so if you like it you can keep coming back for a new experience.

Very nice!

Fun, challenging and original. Style is superb - as mentioned by many others. The old comic book feel is great. Quick to learn. Music is nice too.

Thanks for sharing!

Retro awesomeness!

This is a braintickler! I loved the retro comicbook-style and storyline, but dang it does get hard after awhile. I may need some time to get my eyes to un-cross... XD

Great!

This was a really cool game, the simple concept was addicting and the vintage art style and comic-book storyline kept me engaged; I wasn't bored or regretful once I finished playing. Great job, this deserves front page!

almost perfect

really cool,

the only thing i could think of that would improve it would be somehow pointing out what you missed if you fail, other then that its almost perfect.

StateOfPlay responds:

Hi,

Yeah we might put this in any new version we make, it's a good suggestion.

Not bad, but some defaults.

- too fast for me, I have problem with my optic mouse.
- not time to see result when we have done well, because the score screen appears too fast.
- a save progression button would be apreciate.
- some items appears behind other one, so I can't clic on them.
- replay don't show how much object we have to return in a level

By the way, it's a realy nice idee for a game. Hope we will see other album ^^

StateOfPlay responds:

Hi Kaeleak,

Good suggestions, thanks for them! It's true that sometimes things appear behind ofther ones, but when you retry the level things will be in a different position so hopefully it doesn't hold you up too much.

If you'd like to play another game like this we've made another, here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /491736
