Okay, I finally got this thing ready to be on here. I've pretty much been in NG hibernation since the IMMENSE failure that was my first game, Monoball. This my first foray back into the field of Flash, and I can safely say that I've made some very large graphical and coding steps since then.
I present to you, R.A.I.L.
Instructions are ingame.

Someone will shout at me if theres no "plotline" or "point", so basically you control a R.A.I.L (Rail Augmented Ion Laser or whatever, abbreiviations on a postcard), and all the other robots on the ship are OUT OF CONTROL and crazy and are trying to destroy the ships airlocks. If even one was destroyed all the air would be sucked out of the ship as it was horribly made on a low budget. The other 3 doors would also explode unexplicably. So theres the plot.

Good start

I like the way this game looked. It was very playable but it needs some work. If you were to throw in a bit more diffuculty and some different cannons and mob spawns that progressed though the levels and upgrades I could see this being a fun time waster. It has a good base just needs more to it.

Thanks, I'm working on the difficulty at the minute but I could probably work new guns into the score thing. I could work on some new enemies too probably.

the graphics are low and the game is kinda dumb.4 for work i gues...

The controls don't work

It might be because I have a mac, but I even tried button mashing and nothing worked.

All of them didnt work? I can't see what it would have to do with the computer unless the numeric keys or space is different; I've never even used a mac so I wouldnt know. I'm working on a few changes at the minute so I'll see if I can swith the keys around.

Exactly what it is...

It really is, "Nothing Too New or Interesting".
The game is extremely repetitive and 20 seconds into the game I was bored out of my mind.
Even if an excess of enemies pile onto the screen, it's not very challenging.
Lack of music doesn't exactly help it out either.
Reading your Author Comment, I see that this is your first flash in a very long time, and apparently you've made a lot of progress since then.
Keep working on your scripting and you'll have something that you won't have to worry about in being blammed.
It's not bad enough to be blammed though.
