This is the first game in the series that gets higher than a 0/10 rating from me. The story is still plotless–the original lacks this as well, so perhaps its intentional. However, the graphics, puzzles, and exploration have most definitely been improved (the music was weird and unfitting though). If you would have started the series like this, perhaps I would've been more intrigued. Regardless, it's still not a good game, but once again, it's improvement.

The whole getting locked in your own house makes no sense and the whole dead bodies and codes in your house make no sense either.

Also how do the two codes at the end get you out of your own house?

On a positive note, music was ok, graphics were ok, and it's length were ok.

The music could be changed up a little bit, something more scaryish? and I wish you can see your items, even if it just one item. And it could have some jumpscares to add the horror factor. But overall, okay game!

Well. The body at the beginning isn't there so there is a lack of consistency. The blood dripping animation was okay. I still don't understand why you can't see the guy talking to you. What are you dodging? A bullet? It's not even possible to dodge a bullet. It would've made more sense to see a guy swing an axe or something at you. The multiple codes was a cool idea, and the checkpoint system was very good. The art is way better in this game, way better.

pathetic. not to mention the game can easily be beaten by right clicking and pressing play.

the story was meh but the music really needs more to it, maybe a set of tracks?

also, for all that is holy, remove the codes.
