You have to keep the balls bouncing against each other. It's easy, smash up, smash down, smash up, and so on...
I made this really simple game to test APE Physics Engine. It is based on a game I used to play when I was a child.
Enjoy it and please give me your feedback about it.

Memories

Heh, i used to hurt my hand with that toy a lot.

Hi-score: 7. It's easier with real one. Anyway, not bad. You can't hurt your hand like this at least.

By the way to score, first you smash green balls into each other, THEN you smash them upside down. Easy. smash down, smash up, smash down, smash up... It's a bit hard to hop the green balls upward but physics are realistic.

The potential shows

... but the hit counter doesn't work.. or if it IS working, you haven't mentioned what we need to do to score.. I've tried all the different ways used with the toys but the scores seem to be random.

has the potential to be used in one of those mini game collections... get a whole bunch of physics based minigames together add some better graphics and backgrounds and you could be on to a winner... you could call it "go APE!" (damn i'm funny)

uh.. what am I supposed to do?

neither the game nor the author comments explain the goal of the game. Sometimes, it registers hits when smashing the green balls into each other, sometimes it doesn't..
This really needs an explanation, because not everyone knows your childhood games.

simple, yet entertaining

A pretty unusual choice for a game, I must admit.
Yet it does bring back quite a few memories (I was hopeless with that, and still am, obviously)
At least the gameplay is simple, even though achieving a proper score is obnoxiously difficult (or It's just that I'm bad at it)
Some sound could have been nice, though, if only to justify the name
Oh, and maybe some explanations for those who don't know that game.
improved graphics would also have been nice, but since it was just a test for the physics engine, I won't let that affect my judgement.
Speaking of which, the physics work pretty well, despite the whole device falling off screen from time to time (hence the reset button, I suspect)

As a summary, the game could have been better, but as a test, it works pretty well

Physics Engine Fine, Game Not

A appreciate that you're uploading your test; I just don't think we need to see it in this form. It's not a fun game, nor much of a game, and I'm not sure it really belongs here.
