nice
its a very good adaptation of Asteroids, but the only problem is that once you start the spaceship going, it doesnt stop! right now mine is flying and spinning across the screen smashing into everything.

Before you even play this game, yes I am FULLY aware that it's unoriginal and pretty much a remake of the classic asteroids. I put a small twist on it and gave it some tunes.
The game is made as my first Actionscript 3.0 project, as I've been learning it to make AS2 redundant for me.
Other than that, enjoy the game I have made for you for the few minutes that it remains amusing!

This game is gonna give me motion sickness... i have zero control over the ship. I'm just pressing space and hoping for the best.

Yeah good going! One thing. Perhaps making the game a bit more customizable for the players because i forgot how the spaceship doesn't slow down. Even though that is realistic, maybe a choice for classic version or survival version where the player has to survive an increasing number of rocks. However you revived some of my earliest arcade memories, thanks!
