The classic game of logic, Bulls & Cows; this time, with four-letter words. The computer plays a pretty good game but can be beaten with a little effort! (In fact, the computer is at a distinct disadvantage as it avoids words that are not well established, rarely used or obscene.)

nice, simple and addictive idea, allthought it has some bugs. when the computer is guessing, it puts all the dots black no matter what i push, comw or bulls, and another bug I found was that it put all the dots bulls or cows, couldn't choose f.e 2 cows and one bull. At least i couldn't, tried pressing every button.fix those and you got a very nice little game here

I enjoyed this very much. Breaking words was too hard, but making words was fun.
Switching between bulls and cows was hard, and sometimes I had to cycle for a while. Maybe add some music, and this could be a very good game.

Any English dictionary could have been used since no definitions are given. I just used a list of four letter words allowed in competitive scrabble, though. Google "four letter word list scrabble" to find a plethora of such lists and more.
