In this colourful shooting game set in space, your mission is to protect the universe from hostile invasion. Play through 3 different difficulties shooting down over 10 different enemy ships and 3 tough bosses to save the universe. Get money to upgrade your ship by shooting down enemy ships. Buy shields to protect from the bosses, Activate EMP's to stop the enemy ships and refill your health for when your in danger of losing a life.

Ok, I love how you put some effort into this. Most people would make the generic sidescroller and that's it. But you've gone further than that.
I loved how you could buy lives, powerups and so on. It was great, a show to your commitment in the game.
I recommend in the future making the game a little more fast paced and adding some sound effects/sounds to it.
Other than that, it was fun.
Galaga sideways.
It reminds me of Galaga. However it is original and the graphics are pretty good. The game play is fun and the upgrade system was good.
Oh and the no sound was bugging me. I kept thinking my speakers weren't working and that I accidentally clicked a mute button or something. (lol) Add audio next time.
hey. thanks everyone for the comments, this is my first game so i welcome all positive and negative comments. i have audio in this game but when i uploaded it the audio isnt there? i have no idea why? if anyone has a solution please comment and i will try and fix it.

Good, but...
This was a really fun game; the graphics were just okay, but everything else was pretty darn good.
The problem with these types of games though, is this. You made the upgrade system really well; I found myself having a lot of fun collecting cash from the enemies and buying upgrades. The rest of the game was done well, too. The problem, is that because you did a good job with the mechanics, it was really a disappointment when the game ended after 4 levels.
So in other words, if you're going to make a good game like this, make it longer ;)
It's okay.
It could have been better....to begin with. the whole uprgade menu should of had it's own button or control to make it popup instead of integrating it with the game. Like someone said below me the controls are stiff it gets quite boring because you can just outmanuever enemy attacks with ease.
