Super Mario 63 is a fan-game inspired by Nintendo's Super Mario 64. Many levels and features are based upon it and other of Nintendo's games, but a variety of them are completely original. Among them include a detailed storyline, ability to play as Luigi, a highly customizable Level Designer with sharable codes, three different FLUDD Power-ups, four different power-caps, and 64 Shine Sprites & 64 Star Coins to collect.

This is the final, complete version of this game. If you have seen this game anywhere else (except on SheezyArt) it probably was taken without permission AND it was the demo version. Only 2 websites have this version of the game.

Also, this game is, for the most part, a remake of the Super Mario Sunshine 64 I made in 2006. After we released the game and came back a few years later, we decided to redo the game with a better engine, more objectives, ect. and this is the product... I kind of went a little overboard, but whatever.

If, while playing, you hear random static noise, we apologize; it is a result of too many sounds being overlapped in flash player therefore overloading some of the less-than-perfect sound cards...

And also, please use the Level Designer. I personally feel that the Level Designer is the best feature.

Controls are explained in game, but we will summarize them here:
Arrow keys: Move around/ jump/ dive
Z : Talk/Ground Pound
X: Spin Attack
C: Use Fludd
Shift: Switch Fludds
P: Pause Game
- Zoom Out
+ Zoom In

If you are having trouble with the Z key, try pressing ALT + SHIFT to switch to the American layout.

Credits are in-game.

No doubt, the BEST nintendo flash game to ever exist! (well at least the best one i have ever seen so far). It doesnt even feel like a flash game, it feels like an actual mario game! Thanks so much for making this! I really like collect-a-thons. Also, this improved on F.L.U.D.D! It used to be that you can only use 1 nozzle (not including the water sprayer nozzle), but now u can have all of them and swith between them! (the water prayer one is not here and thats absolutley fine). This could be on the nintendo switch and fit right in! I dont know if i can say anything else, Its awesome!! Well, i can say what i think could be improved, the red coins in bowser stages give shines, but you get kicked out for getting the shines, unlike in mario 64 where you just continue on with the stage. Also in the mario sunshine 64 u made, there was these doors that let to time trials and some kind of boss rush with waves of enemies, i miss these a bit here.. But this game is DEFINANTLY worth 5 stars even with the minor flaws!

As good as SMBX! :D

I like this game, Its one of the best Mario fan games i have ever played! The creator should update the game more. Also i like that its Super Mario Sunshine + Super Mario 64. Anyways i like the game and thats it, Bye.

My number 1 favorite childhood flash game out there, only beaten by Super Smash Flash 2.

If you want a free Super Mario game compatible with your browser, whereas you don't have to download anything, this is really as good as it gets. Super Mario Flash is also another good one, but it's a different type of game, and much more simple than this one (one hit you're dead rather than the health system in this game, for ex)...I personally still like this one much better, as it has more of an adventure feel to it. Plus, traditional Mario games where you die in one hit are a bit too hard for me, and I prefer SM64 style games, lol.

I also really like the inclusion of Luigi in this game, as a nice little reward for getting 32 Star Coins! You have no idea how awesome that is to me. As a child playing SM64, I spent hours wondering how to get and trying to get Luigi...but here, it's finally possible! As a little side bonus, I like how both Mario and Luigi have their advantages and disadvantages. At first, Luigi seems pretty much superior to Mario in every way, as he's faster, and can jump higher...but he also falls asleep much faster than Mario if you leave him idle for too long, and has a longer cool down time after he touches fire or lava, which can get pretty annoying. So they're overall about equal.

Of course, this game, while awesome, is not without its flaws...the typography in this game is pretty bad, for one. And I've noticed some typos here and there. And some of the dialogue is kind of annoying/cringy, and based too much around pop culture and such, making it not very timeless.

Typography aside, it's still not without it's flaws. The up button and jump button are the same thing, which may be bothersome to some people used to the real Mario games. Whenever you leave the screen to go to another tab, sometimes Mario starts to fall endlessly. Sometimes the controls also get a little wonky...I remember several instances where Mario used to spin attack without my command.

But hey, I will in no way let that take away from the product as a whole. Plus, this game was my childhood. You just can't abandon your childhood.

Plus, this is an extremely old game by now, being nearly a decade old. Let's just cut it some slack, and enjoy it for what it is.

In the span of 4-5 days, I completed the whole entire game, and got all 64 Star Sprites and Star Coins all over again! Man, the nostalgia was real! Beating my childhood game once again! Now all I can really do is wait a couple of months or so and beat it again, and play some of the Level Designer levels some people made. I won't make any levels myself as I've never been the creative type, but I love playing through the levels other people made!

That's all I have to say, really...kudos to Runouw for creating this awesome game in which pretty much defined part of my childhood!
