This is the fully animated version of a weird dream I had. The voice is supposed to be the same, my natural speaking voice. The art style is supposed to be jiggly and simple. It's exactly as I dreamed it. I don't know if there's some deep meaning or if I'm just insane.

Ha weird dream.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

I kind of like the squiggly line style in the first place so this wasn't too bad animation or graphics wise. Pretty well done actually. Is it exactly how it was in your dream? Like no backgrounds or any other detail? If there was anything else you should have added it no matter how random.

~ Story/Content ~

People have weird dreams all of the time. I love weird dreams, but I would never have a dream like this ever. Just all around random and not really that weird. Mind lobster? Lol is that something from real life that you might have heard and then for some reason it was in your dream? It's unusual for the mind to create something that random. I can't really comment on the length of the submission or story/plot since you were simply recreating a dream that you had.

~ Audio ~

Decent voice acting all around until you got to the mind lobster bit. You did one of those cheesy screams where you actually end up talking quieter, but instead raising the pitch of your voice to represent screaming. Unless that's how it was in your dream that part wasn't done well at all. Instead you need to actually raise your voice and move back from the mic a little bit.

~ Overall ~

Random dream = random flash submission. Wasn't too funny or anything like that though. Perhaps instead of just one short submission you could put many dreams that you have had together in one submission.

Thanks for the in depth review. The audio was quieter in the scream because screaming "It's a mind lobster" when your family is in the house is...odd to say the least. The graphics, background, and lack of detail are all directly from the dream. They're exactly like the dream. I can't imagine where "mind lobster" came from. Thanks again.

Well...

It wasn't that interesting, nor special... The voices were too quiet and I could barely hear them, the people were poorly drawn, and it could use some kind of plot or background to it, not bad or perfect.

It's a mind lobster!

It got a good chuckle out of me, not bad!

Brain Crab

I thought it was going somewhere right up till the lobster bit, it also seems to be where the voice acting faltered - before that it was promising. I think if you'd followed up the sunny bit with something really dry/deadpan it would have worked quite well.

AdamBTrousers responds:

T'was all based on a dream. I didn't consciously write this.

One good thing

The mind lobster saved the whole movie.
