...

Needs loads of work, pretty good try though

ok then...

it wasn's bad, however tbh it anoys me that when people try to give you advise you snap at them, as in the two comments below...
but i've seen much worse, so keep it up!

KTHXBAI!

For practice...

I can see how this would be really helpful to animate for practice. I have a couple of critiques, though.

First, I noticed that a couple of the scenes at the beginning were a bit confusing. It was easy to figure out what was happening, but it required enough concentration that I was pulled out of the movie.

Second, originality was a bit lacking. No offense, but the fight sequences were rather mediocre-- all the moves you used have already been done over and over and over again. Maybe if you use unique settings for this genre of flash animation (like a music store, the inside of a whale's stomach, or the interior of a cargo helicopter), you can have some battle mechanics that will set your stick animations apart. Decent plots would be nice, too.

Anyways, keep practicing and good luck with your future animations! }:3

Rockyusa responds:

GOD! It was just a bunch of random tests, k? Now, the rest of reviews/voters, STFU.
Just a few tests, k? Seriously. Do i need to have a whole minute saying "This animation has a bunch of tests and is to show skill" for you guys? Anyways...

Still needs work

What you have done here compared to what is already out there, is like comparing a bunch of awkwardly dressed teens filming there own WWF in there moms back yard ... compared to say ... the UFC.

This is to say that you have the right idea, but none of your fights lasted more than 2 or 3 punches. Most of the props (stick-figure or not) didn't look / act real ... even for stick figures.

For example:
- One of your guys pulled a knife ... and then it went to a cut scene, why? What did he even pull the knife for? Was he using it to trim his finger nails? or did he use it to fight off a guy w/ a gun (against all odds, crouching tiger hidden dragon type of catching and deflecting bullets?)

- Another scene had a few guys pull guns shoot them ... but it seemed like they where more interested in the loud sound they made, and the cool lights and flashes coming out of there own barrel. I mean, part of the problem w/ bringing a gun to a knife fight ... is that it ends it kinda quick, but even still ... its possible that the guy is actually trying to shoot someone. You could show bullet holes in boxes and background w/ another fighter narrowly avoiding them at the last second ... just to end up getting his left arm shot off, to which he picks it up and beats the other guy to death with.

I guess what im getting at here, is it needs work. You have the right idea, you just lack depth.

Rockyusa responds:

Exactly like the last reviews i got, eh? THIS WASN'T A FULL ANIMATION!!! Just tests! Say it with me now. T-E-S-T-S. Tests.
