I'm re-releasing this much older series* of mine on Newgrounds and other sites in honour of the recently-destroyed computer game company 3D Realms, whose games inspired a lot of the happenings in StrifeToons. Mainly the DNF jokes.
This pilot episode features some eerie similarities to the 3D Realms situation at present, despite the fact that it was made nearly three years ago. Okay so the aliens aren't real, BUT STILL! Perhaps we can learn an important lesson from this cartoon.
Episode 2 is on NG now!
* trilogy. It was cancelled to make way for the Up Skit Creek series and other more commercially viable projects (with better voice acting).
What a blast. :) I'm definitely a bigger DOOM fan than I am a Duke one, but this does have me feeling a bit sorry for the latter... good fun though. Love the lipsync style for Doomguy. Not common you see Commander Keen in an animation either, and this particular trio all together must be all the more unusual. Fun to bridge worlds like this.
Wasn't a huge fan of that first DOOM movie here referenced, but with the newest one... suddenly the first one doesn't seem so bad after all. :/

Yeah, kind of! Though even now, after DNF was released, Doom is still getting the most love, Duke is still a bit of a failure, and Keen is still being overlooked and mistreated. lol
I think this series has potential for a comeback.
I mean I wonder if we would now call Doom Marine Doom Slayer and he tries to get into Smash Ultimate .A jab at Duke Nukem Forever actually getting released and Keen getting that shitty Mobile game.I can only imagine
Man, I really wish to see more episodes of StrifeToons.
