Hello Actionscript 3.0.
With what we learned from the Enrichment Center, we decided to attack the new language, and I basically fell in love with it.

Here's the demo for our new game. The finished version will have more levels, and the actual story. so hope you check it out once it's posted!
This demo is useful because we want feed back to see if we're going the right direction and/or to get good ideas so the game is better at the end.

THE STORY:
You are a marshal of a neutral system of a great war. However, one of the sides has come and invaded your, at the time, peaceful system. You then decide to take action and fight to reclaim your system back.

make somthing like galiga! that was probobly one of the best games old style,
also, the movement for the guys froze up when i tried to move, 3rd, the lasers should move all the way accrost the screen not move a millimeter from the dang ship, over all good game!

Since it's only a demo, You really need enemy ships to react at being shot. A animation for the movement of your ships/asteroids wouldn't be bad either. Also make a visible health/shields bar, lastly I think there should be some form of power ups or upgrades you should be able to obtain from enemies or between portals. It looks like it will be a good game when its done!

It needs better hitTesting and you must be able to do EVERYTHING at the same time.
