Effing Hail

How does large hail form?

Updrafts within thunderstorms push rain high into the cloud where very cold air freezes it. Once frozen it starts to fall but gets caught in another strong updraft where it gathers more moisture on its way back up making it larger. If the updrafts are strong enough they will continue this process for long periods of time allowing the hail to accumulate more moisture and more moisture. Updrafts can get so strong they even intrude into the stable stratosphere. When updrafts are this strong it becomes possible to suspend large hail for long periods of time further adding moisture to the hail, sometimes building it to incredible sizes.

This game was good, but it was quite complicated. I will give it props for originality. The music is pretty good. I really couldn't get a good control on this. I do like the graphics. I really didn't know that was how hail worked.

I guess it makes sense, the more I think about it. I beat one level and I think that was just luck. It's just so hard to control the hail. It is nice when it manages to hit stuff. Maybe I'm bad at this game because I live in Florida.

loved it when I first found it and still do :) fantastic game

Nice game at all, I LOVE the music, but yes, there is a lack of a free mode :(
Still, I will keep on playing it some times because of the nice idea and nice song :)

Like many others, I firmly believe that the lack of a free play mode hinders this game. The time limit is very brutal and could do with some loosening to increase the "fun factor". Also, the cooler sections of the atmosphere should grow the hail stones faster.

Overall, good game, but the brutal time limit and lack of a free play mode really bring it down.

Who would walk outside in a Hailstorm? Either though they did that, Still deserves 5 stars.
