i can tell your animations will get much better. the shading and design was awesome. just need some fiber and script in there

This was my "Music Video" major project for my grade 11 Animation class.
At our highschool we have 2 animation classes, Animation 20 which is for people who want to learn what animation is, and have no previous experience, and its basically using flash for the entire sem. Then animation 30 which is 3d. (eww lol)
Since I had experience in flash, I went a lil overboard with this assignment. Our teacher told us usually people just make balls bounce in time with the music, but i did something a lil different...
Anyways, NG is the first to see this short of mine.
Completed in 4 Days, With a total work time of probably about 6 hours. (Whereas the rest of the class has 3 weeks to do this assignment. :P)
It took alot longer then i thought it would, but i ran into problems, and had to animate lots of the lighting on the guy by hand, because it doesnt sync right with the dancing, so its not all one looped mc.
Anyways, I hope you guys like this. It is short, and not THAT exciting, but I had fun making it.

EDIT: PS I have to use this music, and I cant make the music any longer or my animation teacher will beat me.

Clever use of lighting
Even though it was a loop it never felt repetitive, the hair shifting back and forth was a nice touch.

I think you should build off of this. I liked how he looked so happy while dancing to "disco" music. It kind of reminds me of the SNL skit and the song What is Love. May be you could play around with an idea that is similar to that? I don't know, but try to expand!

I really liked the animation though it was simple. I wish they taught animation at my high school but oh well. If you were looking for new ideas I would just have different actions included into your flash but other than that it was good. Hope you atleast got an A+.

Yup I know. The assignment was focusing on timing to music. And I wanted to do that with the lights, so I focused on that. Then ran into problems.
What else should I add then?
