Wow

Your boy scout arts and crafts is totally paying off! Maybe you'll get that merrit badge after all!

Lulu51896 responds:

lol thanks,I never was in the boy scouts though >_> but thanks!

You should have just made this a movie.

it's not a game at all

I'm really uncertain how to tackle with this...

Well then, yes, I agree with my fellow reviewers this isn't much of a game.
But as there was not intention of creating a game here, there is no trouble!
Frankly I'm intrigued to what purposes you have made this flash gadget - a school project? or perhaps simply to share your knowledge with the masses?
Either way, good job!

If this IS a school project though (and if it's not you're still welcome to read on as I'm sure these points may help you in future flash creating), there are a few things you could do in order to make things look more professional.

First of all a style theme is always a good way to start. While you did have some styling (green buttons, and an off-white yellowish background) in order to decide the best style for your project , you'd best discern it's PURPOSE and USES. For example, in this flash the purposes is for the user to make something, it is a Tutorial as you have chosen to express it.
In that case, for instance, make the environment as relaxing to the user as possible so he'll be able to concentrate on the task at hand.
In that case try to find the style elements that would make it so - relaxing colors (while background color wasn't bad, the choice of green is a bit straining to the eyes), relaxing music (perhaps light ambiance, classical music, songs from the 50's...maybe even find a song with texts about craftmanship?) etc etc...
If you like a certain band, and want to use their songs - why not choose a more relaxing tune? Again your style choices may be different than mine - perhaps a relaxing experience isn't what you think this should be, but I didn't see any kind of PURPOSE styling in your choices - and that IS an important factor in my opinion.

Having minimal typo's and correcting grammer is always a good idea when tackling help screens - as you ARE trying to help or inform the user in some way. Texts with many errors are confusing to the user if he's trying to understand from them certain directions.
Having jokes in between directions is one GOOD thing you did, and is always helpful to calm tension when a user is trying to figure out directions. But again, grammer is the key here, since you want the jokes to calm the user - and not confuse him even more than he is.

I hope my critique is well taken and informative too you, for when I saw this submission I thought I had to say a few words, since I'm all for sharing as much information as possible between people, and wanted to relate to you that things like these are quite a positive thing.

Lulu51896 responds:

I'll be making some of these changes. Thanks for the wonderful critique(I think thats how you spell it)

what..

why the heck is this a game, huh?

Lulu51896 responds:

It's a game under tutorials.

ehh

its a kool idea, to make a tutorial, but the instructions were quite vague, and the pictures didnt help much, maybe putting a little more effort in the instructions would help, +1 on the vote for the song though
