Author Comments

Hi, this is my claymation film. It was alot longer (1 second long :p) but due to the 10mb limit i have removed quite abit. I have removed every second frame making it abit jolty.
It consists of 38 pictures, and is 8mb, the origonal was 18mb so please do not comment that it is shourt.
Well have fun and plase wait for it to load, as i am pretty impressed.
--EDIT--
planning to do the fun thing of rescaling 72 pictures. Probubly be done in 3 days at the max. Please check back then for the fuller, smoother aniamtion.

I don't get it.

You probably took 30-40 pictures to do this, so I'm not gonna give you points for effort. However, you're right- it IS choppy. And even though you might not like this, I should probably say that it's REALLY short. Was there a plot? Did his hat fall off? I don't get it. No sound either. I guess I can check back in a few days... you get one point for trying to do claymation, which I know is tough, and one more for decent sculpting skills.

too short

You need to SERIOUSLY re-scale your pictures... that should've been less than a megabyte or something...
Maybe not even 200K

Well the animation was ok...

The animation was ok, I can appreciate how much better it would've been with all the frames in, but it still was a bit of a letdown after that epic load. Nearly 5 minutes. I haven't really got much by way of Constructive criticism, other than get some software to scale your picture file size down.

Bard5 responds:

sorry about that, it was twice the length, but i had to compact it, but thanks for reviewing.

nice work

Good claymation but way too short, I know you ask nit to comment about shortness in the authors commentary, but I have to because it is, if you need help reducing the memory size of your pictures send me a PM I've done it for a friend before or better yet contact Paper-SFX ( http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /182526 ) or BoMbLu ( http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /444392 ) who both are experienced claymators here and will be able to tell you about memory size reduction for claymation.

awesome

Even though it was short, it was still good. I love clay animation but sometimes its hard to make. you should find a way to shrink the file size so you can add more. keep up the good work.
