Oy vey, folks! Princess L. here! Despite the hold up due to school exams and THE UP-AND-COMING CYBEREN SILLIES SPIN-OFF ME AND ADAM ANT HAVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR YOU GUYS (I've explained it in detail on my blog: http://princess-laucherel la.newgrounds.com/news/po st/242626), the Cyberen Sillies are back!
They say suicide rates are the highest around the holidays. This may very well be a total fabrication as I've never seen any facts backing it up, but it goes well with tonight's Silly. It looks like Cyberen - going in and out of the hospital for months on end for breast cancer treatment - has developed another affliction: a classic case of holiday blues!
Making matters worse, the meddling Jhonen Vasquez has flushed Cyberen's antidepressant pills down the toilet, thinking that Cyberen was experimenting with amphetamines again (this just happened in real life, except it was actually his mother who was apparently attempting to sell them on the street).
Cyberen seems to be slipping back into his old borderline-suicidal to suicidal ways, exacerbated by medication withdrawl, but don't get too down in the dumps just yet, folks! Cyberen (for once) finds a healthy outlet for his sadness and gets Old Salty (who met his tragic end at Cyberen's hands last month in http://www.newgrounds.com /portal/view/467745)'s soul-tastic band back together to SING THE BLUES! That's right folks! Get ready for a heart-felt musical number you won't soon forget!
But who is the special person who can get Cyberen out of his funk? The answer, my friend, is YOU!
Cyberen HAS been very blue in real life. I personally believe that his resilient morale has been combating the breast cancer just as much if not more than all the treatments he receives. Lately Cyberen hasn't been getting any comments on his Newgrounds blog (http://cyberen.newground s.com) giving him love and support. I think that it's DIRECTLY effecting his mental and physical health.
Please join me in the holiday spirit and give Cyberen the best gift you can possibly give anyone: the gift of a helping hand. All you have to do is go on that blog and wish him happy holidays, tell him you hope he gets better, etc. and just that will make our unfortunate friend have a VERY special Christmas!
