A little short

Not a bad short and I have to say that this style of animation was an excellent choice - it works so well for the type of joke that you were trying to put across. Some sort of Monty Python could have been thrown in there for a few more laughs, as the Dead Parrot sketch is widely regarded as one of their best.

I think that the set up for the gag was good, but it could have used a little more, just to give it a decent prod in the right direction. You're almost there, but not quite.

Random, but good

I'm not entirely sure what this was all about, but it made me laugh. When that guy drops the bird in front of the birds activists.... priceless. :D

The graphical style is quite unique. A bit sloppy sometimes, but still very detailed.
The music fits pretty good to the setting of the flash and the sound effects you used are also quite good.

However, sometimes the scene changes are a bit too fast. For example when the elevator reaches the "free bird" floor it quickly changes to a man holding a sign, but before one can grasp what's going on there the scene changes back to the guy in the elevator. A few more frames of the guy holding the sign would be good here. There are also other ocasions where the scene changes are too quickly.

I laughed a bit

Graphics were unique and the sound effects were good. Just seeing the character panic was humorous, however the growing arm animation to touch the bird was out of place(you could have him lean a bit and touch him). Even the predictable(but still slightly humorous) "free bird" floor was enjoyable in it's own way. Overall for a short flash this was enjoyable, good luck on future submissions.

Haha, completely random.

Animation/Graphics - Hmm, the black and white style was alright, but because you had color in some spots and none in other parts it gave it a bit of an unfinished feeling. A decent style, but probably not the best. The animation could have been a bit better itself. Even the animation gave me the feeling that it was a bit unfinished. I think the biggest part that could have been worked on in the animation was the part in the elevator where the man was touching the bird, I think it would have been better if he was reaching for the bird instead of his arm randomly growing while he stood in the same spot.

Story/Content - Completely random. I didn't think it was going to be too good when it started off, but when he touched the bird and it fell over really fast, dying, I thought it was funny as hell. Probably because it was completely random and I didn't see it coming at all. It actually made me laugh out loud. Being unpredictable is a great addition to any flash animation. The rest of the jokes/flash was alright, but really didn't make me laugh or anything like that.

Audio - Decent sound effects and everything like that. Not much else to comment about. Perhaps adding something like voices could have made it a little bit better. The only part that I would have added voices would be at the very end. Just something simple like the guy saying something along the lines of, "Oh shit.." Anything like that would have probably been pretty good.

Overall - The funny part that I talked about before made the submission for me. The style needs a little bit of work in my opinion, but not too bad.

Strange.

I actually quite liked it, the story was there. Your art style is new and original witch is good, I liked the lack of colour on the man, and general blandness of colour throughout. It didn't make... allot of sense but I enjoyed it none the less. I would like to see more work by you.
