My second flash. After an eight month haitus due to a bad computer I decided to familiarize myself with flash again on a new computer, alongside practicing using sound effects and whatnot. Created while looking for inspiration at 2 in the morning. This was the result.

nice

Very Noir, I like it. I understand the message I love it lol. I see people think your a maniac, but thats unfounded. I mean rappers and can spew lyrics about beating their wifes to death and they go double platinum, you make a true work of art and are looked down upon for it.
I congratulate you, this is a very good piece of art. Your animation needs some work obviously, but you can't expect to much with a mouse. I'd like to illicit a little conversation about how you got your inspiration for this movie. Coulda been a little longer, but it's a great short! I hope this gets an award it's truly wonderful, while slightly esoteric, but thats alright all true works of art are, i was going to watch this last night but didn't have the time for it. Sadly, I sincerely regret that. Anyway Congratulations again. Please... continue to make flash. I think maybe i just found the first artist I'd like to add to my favorites.

Pretty creepy

I thought it pretty well done but it did give me the chills after watching it. It seems so selfish that the character in your animation could do something like that for his own inspiration at the cost of someone else. Almost like he went through a mid-life crisis and snapped. None the less I like it. Keep up the good work and maybe offer a little more insight as to what your character is thinking or if he has any second thoughts/ internal conflict about his decisions.

Senselessly weird, random, and morbid.

You should probably look into some paxil, or maybe just take some tylenol pm next time you're up at 2 in the morning.

That said, I liked your musical score -- very atmospheric. The sound effects were well chosen, but poorly executed -- the timing is off. The animation itself was okay, though it was a little strange that your main character was paper-thin. It's one thing to animate that way and make use of the style's novelty, it's another entirely when the effect looks like corner-cutting in the animation, which I suspect it was.

It was creepy as I said above, and succeeded somewhat in that respect... but was more weird than anything. I don't feel moved or compelled to thought by your animation, and I didn't particularly enjoy watching it. And I'm a freak, by the way. I generally like creepy/weird stuff. Maybe if it had been darkly humorous; or creepy in a way that translated well into flash (gore in a paper-thin world really doesn't insofar as being creepy goes) -- like something more intellectual or psychological -- I'd have enjoyed watching it more.

Decent idea, but I'm more creeped out by my own pereceptions of the author than by the animation itself.

I can see talent

You can clearly tell a story well, and it is a good story, that aspect of this animation I loved. You had a perfect atmosphere going that made the animation awesome. The only problem I see is that you havn't got the same talent with animation, but that's something that you can work on, look around at a few tutourials and learn about animation. I think if you really put yourself into improoving your skills with animation you could have a seriously brilliant flash made.

Not into it, sorry...

Look, I'm sure you spent a lot of time working on this, and the ideas are sophisticated at some level, but I'm just not too impressed. Would have preferred it, if at all, as a book/short story. Also consider that repetitive music can make for increased rates of negative attention spans...

I hope you'll find my review rating relatively fair.
