It wasn't bad...it just wasn't good :P

The sound quality wasn't the best, and neither was the animation, but trust me, it was a hell of a lot better than some other shit I see on Newgrounds XD And I could tell you put a lot of effort into it, so extra points for that :)

btw, I have flash, and I make games and movies myself (but I swear to god, I'm not the greatest XD) But, I can tell you 2 things that you may need in the future. Actually scratch that...2 things you WILL need in the future. I'll say the first thing now: You put music into your flash the exact same way you put sounds in. You just need the right editing program to cut parts out of the sound you don't need. Like say, mpTrim? Anyways, the second thing I'll tell only if you want to know, so PM me if you would like. You could also ask for more help on music if you're still having trouble.

Anyways, overall, the movie itself wasn't TOO bad. You just need some hints here and there about flash. So I'll give help if you need it :)

Ha, the fact that you reused 4 sound effects does not mean this animation had any quality sound.

Horribly animated, horribly created and the same, repetitive script I see for every sprite movie.

As far as random Sonic/Shadow (or the slightly less popular X/Z) battles go, this wasn't bad at all. It was a bit... ah.... random, and you didn't exactly have much of a plot, but decent job.

(By the way, where did you get those effects? I'm having a terrible time trying to find sheets for things like dash clouds and the like.)

It was alright. I felt like addition of music would make it much more entertaining ,so you should definitly figure that one out for next time.

Too random for me, it was some good animation but it didn't seem to have much of a point. Maybe make a point to the fighting next time instead of just having two characters going at it.
