This is my first submission to Newgrounds even though I have been enjoying the site for years. I downloaded a trial of Flash to try my hand at it and really love the program and hope to get much better at this. I will be investing in a tablet and a full version of Flash as well as Animator soon so count on the artwork improving. Thanks to all involved and especially anyone who connects with the sense of humor this animation revolves around.

Your effort really shows.

Not a bad start at all man. Why didn't you tell me you posted? Haha.

As I said, the effort in this really shows, the frame by frame looks awesome and I can't imagine having to draw all of that without a tablet.

This is surely a leap beyond most of the "my first flash" submissions you see out there, and I can only imagine you going up from here. Great work.

Hedgepig responds:

Yeah sorry was pretty sure I did, I don't know sometimes my PM's just get all screwy. Hell chances are I just never clicked send haha.

Anyways I'm really glad you liked it, I wish I had something better on the way to show you but school has been on my rear like no other. Yay junior year. I know the Flash is relatively simple but I cannot wait to get in there and get better at this, hopefully you'll see something of mine with a green or blue bar around it in the new submissions portal. Doing the FBF wasn't all that bad because I enjoyed it, had it been a school project I would have hung myself. I did wind up getting that tablet to, Cintiq 12WX and I love it. As soon as I get Flash again I'll be back on here for sure and I'll be messaging you right away.

Congratulations on all your front pagers as well, I've been keeping up with the Sketched series and have been laughing the whole time.

Thanks for the review!

FREAKIN AWESOME

THIS IS THE GREATEST FLASH OF ALL TIIIIIIIIMMMMMMEEEEEEE

Hedgepig responds:

Hahaha thanks mate, ill be sure to give you something new to look at in a little bit.

damn it...

when i saw the link, i was thinking "blam this shit"

but for your first try, it was pretty good...
damn it
good job sir

Hedgepig responds:

Haha yeah i think saying it was my first made some people instantly blam it and other people appreciate it more so it all works out, I can't believe I made the filter though. thanks for the review!

Definitely good work !

Unfortunately though, this is just a kind of exposition on your skills, which I admit are nice , especially for the first thing you submitted. It just hits me as a commercial for yourself, which I guess isn't too negative a thing, but it really isn't necessary, good work speaks for itself! I suggest the next one have a point other than just doing it.

Hedgepig responds:

Hahaha, you hit the nail on the head, that's exactly what this was. I wanted to know where I fell in the grand scheme on Newgrounds so I flipped through my notebooks and found some doodles I thought people would like to see animated and then just worked from that point on. And now that I've made it through the portal I can sleep again. I do plan to be adding more simple stuff as well, I'll need voice actors and more ideas, not to mention some cash, but as soon as the ball gets rolling I'll be alright. Thanks for the review and I hope you'll check out anything else I post while I still have Flash.

Lots of Potential

Keep it up!

Hedgepig responds:

Thank you, I really hope to be putting some more stuff out so keep your eyes open, I only have a thirty day trial so chances are it will be aomething along these lines except with a little more depth.
