When a house is going to be demolished and a new one built up in it's place it is common for people to give permission to firemen to practice in the house by setting it on fire and then trying to put it our. the owner of the house about to be demolished would grant permission

Those are weird

But I heard of other crazy laws regarding what you can do in your bedroom as well. It makes me wonder what they were smoking when those were established.
