A little bit of history right here, had to look her up to be honest and it's a shame to see what happened to her so young. Though if she were alive I can't say that I would be interested in her music. I do appreciate the thought behind this.

It's nice to see not everyone on this site is an asshole when it's time to be serious. Anyone who has real talent, whether they're rock stars, or R&B stars deserves to be mourned when they pass. Aaliyah had been an entertainer since she was fourteen(she died at 22), and she had lots of potential(the part Jada Pickett played in the Matrix sequels were going to be played by Aaliyah). The only thing I can fault her on was her performance in Queen Of The Damned, but hell, it was her last movie.
