**READ BEFORE VIEWING** To get the most out of this movie, I recommend wearing headphones and turning the volume up. Also, in the intro there is a part where the screen goes black for a little while, and all you'll hear is sound fx. This is done for effect, so don't think the movie cuts off there! Synopsis: This movie revolves around contract-killer named Jack on his last job. He is hired to take out a club owner and mob affiliate named Frankie. On his way there, repressed memories begin to resurface, and he begins to realize this line of work has left him broken, empty, alone.
Bleeding Hearts is a city devestated by the worst depression in decades. Once a thriving metropolis, it is now on the brink of social and economic collapse. The people of this miserable city now do whatever they can to escape the mess that has become their lives.

If you're still reading this far in, I assume you give a shit, so here's some more information on the project. It was originally supposed to be much longer, and have lots of characters with interconnecting storylines, but the project was really too ambitious for me. I kept restarting because the work that I had done wasn't living up to my 'vision'. I was unhappy with it, so I gave up on it. This movie is only about 1/5 of what I had planned for the character. A lot of this contains the scenes that I had scrapped, as well as some new animations to help piece things together. This was all done in old-school Flash 5.

It's certainly a "noir" piece, that's for sure. I liked the animation style. It's grittiness fit the story well. The music was very good, too.
Some of the voice acting was kinda lacking, but the terror scene was well-done. I'll give you a 4. I hope you make this into a series.
