Sorta Made me laugh.
Probably one of your first,
But not bad.
I've seen worse.
So yeah, Good work i guess.
Long story short, this is my first flash movie. I thought of this idea at work the other day, and although I suck pretty hard at flash, I'm hoping one of you might take the idea and run with it. I'm sure Bill Kurtis wouldn't mind taking a trip over to other famous Newgrounds locations... ;)
Anyway, I don't think it's too bad, for having attempted to use flash for less than a week. The Flash Tutorial collection has given me a start so far. Constructive criticism always accepted.

You say this is your first?
I must say, then, I'm fairly impressed. It certainly wasn't the best movie I've seen, but it had a somewhat original idea (news report on the Internet in All Your Base), color, sound, and overall better quality than about 80% of the "first Flashes" I've seen thus far.
What could you have improved on? Well, for one, an increase in animation and movement would be highly welcome in this movie. Perhaps Mr. Kurtis could move around the screen a bit, showing where to plug in one's laptop on the ship? Also, a bit more length would be appreciated. Perhaps an interview with the Captain, or maybe CATS, about the Internet connections on those ships. But overall, it's not a bad attempt.
3/5, 6/10.
FTW???
Pretty weird man, but if its like ur first one not bad, tho i dnt get it XD jus practice like shading an u cud even out a voice in
Nice little short.
Surprisingly, I recognized the guy at the beginning of the flash. xD I'm gonna list some pros and cons for you. Just to give you some things to think about. (I will keep in mind that it's your first flash.)
Pros: It was funny! I actually lol'd when he said "Check on all your bases". I think you have great potential. Just need to practice some.
Cons: The main character didn't match the ship from "All your base." If you would've made him pixelated and (I think that's 12 bit color?) so he fit in with the ship, I probably would've bumped this up to a 9/10. Once again, it's inexperience and will come with practice.
other thoughts: Some people will tell you "it's too short", but just take it as it comes. If you want to stick with short flashes, then by all means; do so. Don't let anyone waver you from doing what you enjoy.

For a first movie..
it wasn't horrible... as a fan of AYBABTU, the music was the best part, and the few refernces invited a chuckle. It took a bit of brain power on my part to imagine Bill Curtis actually saying those lines, if you could find some good talent to get a voice in the flash, it'd be a riot... please do keep practicing!
