Animation was excellent

The animation was excellent but everything else, I'm sorry to say, lacked.

From the distracting circles that appeared whenever an impact was made to the too-quiet music, it was all difficult to follow without gaping in the bad way.

Also, despite a great background, you merely typed in the text like it was a rush job, when I know, looking at everything else, any hand-drawn text would have been beautiful.

The ending left me asking myself, "What?". Okay, there's a city, then... a train? Who's the guy with the newspaper or whatever?

I enjoyed the animation, but were it cleaned up in certain areas I know I'd njoy it much more.

All well and good, but it's all been done before.

Your stick animation is better than most I've seen (stick animation that is) and show some prospect with backgrounds, but until you give it a plot--a story--you are no different from a million other animators competing for our attention. Stand out. Do something bold and sophisticated. Then you will be a real animator.
