Hey. I made this for my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary. I thought some people here might also appreciate and enjoy it so ive decided to submit it here :)
I spent over a year experimenting with and animating this piece and im really happy with the outcome!
The song is Lazarus by Porcupine Tree. They are a HUGELY underrated and diverse British band, I recommend anyone - especially those into prog - to check out more of their stuff. They have a massive back catalog and in my opinion every single one of their albums is genius. www.porcupinetree.com

A very touching flash and this is what you get with a year of practice in flash and animation,i really liked the animation especially the background and i was also impressed with the FPS and the song was also sweet too though i never heard of it but it was great as was this flash,excellent job and congratulations on your anniversary and hope it keeps going good for you. =)

By I laughed the whole way through the movie, because I know my gf would never accept a flash animation for our anniversary, even if I created one as good as yours XD But it was still good!

I liked it very much. The only things that bothered me were:
A) The hedgehogs at the beginning. Why? was it to symbolize the path that they would eventually meet on? Or is it an inside thing with your girlfriend I know nothing about?
B)The fact that the music doesn't die away at the end, or somehow indicate closure. It just says "The End" while the music KEEPS PLAYING. Find some way to fix this.
Otherwise I felt it was great. Very touching. (The hug/trees/color/splash thingie was cool XD wasn't sure what to call it)

Yeah know one will understand the hedgehogs... We always used to joke that we were hedgehogs in a previous life... kinda an inside thing lol :P
yeah... I kinda wanted the song to carry on, I mean I could have just faded it out, but some people might have wanted to listen to the rest of the song. Theres no real harm in having it play on until it finishes, it clearly states "the end"
