great movie
it was very good man.
About a year ago, I decided to make a short hand-drawn toon, mostly cause I was sick of seeing the same old use-a-lot-of-tweens-every -frame-looks-similar crap. There was a song on the first Meat Puppets album I really liked and thought it would be a great song for a quirky, squiggly cartoon like this. Yeah, I know it's all squiggly and trippy. Yeah, I know it's all black & white. Yeah, I know it's not very long. But whatever. Take it for what it is. You may not enjoy it, but other people do.

Thanx :)

Did NOT expect that ending 0_o
Heh. I've heard that about 50 times now. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that. I didn't know how I was gonna end it when I made it, that's what I decided on doing, and now I'm glad I did it.
Squiggly Circles Review
Well it's not bad, but could definitely use some improvement. I liked it though.
=Pros=
-Music was very fitting, catchy
-Creative transitions
-Frame by Frame? Correct me if I'm wrong.
=Cons=
-Lack of detail
-Short
-Colourless
Entertainment - 510
// Was a bit short, but you can do a lot with a small amount of time if you try. I enjoyed watching it, it wasn't bad by all means, just average.
Animation - 5/10
// I really like the transitions but lines could use work. Try 3 or 4 frames for line animation, use onion skinning to help with that. Frame by frame animation is an art form, and looks creative and stylish. I said lack of colour was a con, but black and white can look great two when you have detail. I suggest adding shading. You have some talent in you, practice makes perfect afterall.
Audio - 7/10
// Liked the song, catchy. Points were deducted for using a (licensed?) song, but I understand some people can't make their own music. It's a tough thing to do, I find it difficult to create catchy and high quality tunes.
Creativity - 6.5/10
// I can't decide between a 6 or a 7. It's you just that you have creative talent, but it's nothing new, or innovative.
FINAL SCORE (Not an average) - 5/10
It's nothing amazing by any means, but it could be a brick leading up to a full wall. I'd like to see you put a bit more effort, it seems you have some talent. You can stick by frame by frame, or whatever style you used, just try to add a little extra detail, like shading. Doesn't even have to be in colour. Also, use a thinner brush size, as larger is not necessarily better. If you have a tablet, that's great and it'll be easier. But I'm assuming you have a mouse, so it'll take some time to practice to get things really looking good.
I hope I didn't come off sounding like a ass, or too harsh. I just want to offer some tips, and point out some things you can improve. I hope to see more work from you.
Yeah, in hindsight, I wish I'd put in more detail. Despite the fact that I made this over a year ago and I probably would've made it better had I made it more recently (and recorded my own music), I really appreciate the constructive criticism. I'd rather have that than some douche leaving some unintelligible negative comment.
pretty good
it was amusing
Why haven't people rated this higher????
I'm giving you a 10. Well done! :D:D:D:D
Thank you.
