Square Shifter is a fast paced 2D side scrolling platformer based around the simple yet fun concept of collection. Although the game is heavily rooted in run and jump based gameplay, the main character can fly which brings new life to the way the genre is played.
Features 11 challenging levels.
You must dash through each level, shifting all the squares in order to progress.
Watch out for enemies! They will try to steal back your squares!
You have 20 minutes to complete the game or you will fail.

This game was glitchy. Randomly, when I hit the space bar, it would start depleting my flying power bar thingy, but I would just start sliding around. After that, my character would start running in place for a few seconds.
If it gets fixed, I would love to give it another try. It's just rather irritating right now.
Good concept
I really enjoyed the idea of the game, especially the enemies that try to steal back your squares. Also the powers your character has are a lot of fun. That said, hit detection was very dodgy and the controls were sometimes frustratingly slow to respond, particularly the attack button. There was a point where I hit a square that refused to shift. Work out the bugs and you have a great game there.
No Ice Please
The game is overall very good but adding one new element to a B.C. old concept doesn't do much. What else can I say that hasn't been said before? Hmm? Oh yeah! Why does he SLIDE!!!
