Galactic Basketball

Author Comments

Galactic Basketball is just like shooting hoops, except the basket is a wormhole and the ball is a space rock. Just click, hold, and drag to give the rock some initial momentum, and use the star's gravitational pull to your advantage. You lose a life every time you hit the star or have to reset because you missed the wormhole and went into orbit.

This is a quick game I put together using AS3. As you can tell its fairly simple, but I find it kinda fun, and I'm sure some other people will too. This is my second flash game made using as3, and it took significantly less time than the first, both because of its simplicity and because of my increased knowledge of the language. My next game will be out soon, and I'm far more proud of it, but at least this game is bug-free, much unlike my first game.

Suggestions for simple changes will be considered.

needs a practice mode

Great concept, work on the delivery.

The design was quite clever, but the delivery needs some more work.
Like the guys before me, it needs more features to it.

Improve.

Nice little minigame.

What can I say? You throw rocks around a star to hit wormholes. It's simple, reminds me of "Gravity Wars" and similar concepts, and is overall done very well.

Also, I got #1 place in the highscores. At least, I did at the time of this review. Go me!

Yeah, not much to say about it, there isn't much to comment on, really. I'll just leave it at that. 6/10 3/5

Ok...

Nice game you got there, very addicting. You could improve it by:
Adding Brighter Worm Holes (so you know where to shoot)
Made even more levels
Made even harded levels
