It's alright.

Still can't figure out why preloaders hate me...If you see a white screen, DO NOT PANIC. IT IS LOADING. Anyways, we've got a new sponsor: MaxGames. Goat-Man made a nifty little intro with their logo in it. Also changed the background colour to make it a little more spiffy.
/*Update*/
Mac issues have been fixed. Nothing can be done about long loading times for the 15 x 15 puzzles.
/*Update*/
Seems that me and preloaders don't get along too well...if you see a giant white screen, don't panic. It's just loading. It may take a little while because 7.7 megabytes is a lot...music does that...

Greetings all!
After 5 and a half long months of on and off work, DeRoze Picross is FINALLY completed!
Regardless if you've played this style of game in the past, please read the instructions; this control set up is a little different from other sites and its counterpart, Armor Picross.
Also, forgive me if there's a bit of a lag when going to the tutorial. I haven't the slightest idea why it lags, but it does, so just be patient and it'll all be good. There may be also minor lagging when going to a 15 x 15 puzzle.
If there is a bug or glitch or something, let me know ASAP. It'll take at least an hour to fix because I can't be on the computer all the time, and it takes 46 minutes (at most) to export the game.
A huge special thanks to Goat-Man for significantly improving the graphics of this game.
Please, sit back, relax, and enjoy the game.

It's alright.
I think so too.
While this is a picross game, it's not a very good one. For starters, you can't drag the mouse to mark multiple pieces at once, so you take much longer to solve puzzles. Second, you are not able to mark spaces as "Not Fillable", so it can make it more confusing for the players who need that feature in order to tell themselves where they can or cannot fill in a space. Thirdly, you cannot tell which puzzles you have or have not finished. This can be very confusing for completionists. Finally, I feel like there is no use for the multiple colors in the bottom. Unless you were able to use them to, again, mark spaces as not fillable, then I feel that there is no point to the multiple colors.
Overall, this game has potential, and a good concept and attempt for a picross game. However, I feel it is executed sloppily, and could be done much better.
Things to improve:
• Allow for multi-block selection
• Allow for use of markers to show what blocks cannot be filled
• Show which puzzles have been completed
• Remove colors/Allow for colors to be used to mark different squared as not fillable, possibly fillable, etc.
Thank you for the detailed review!
Teenage me couldn't figure out how to do a multi-block selection. But, knowing how helpful it is (especially as puzzles get bigger), I should have given it some extra effort.
There actually is a way to mark squares as "Not Fillable" (press Space to switch to your pencil, then Space again to return to your pen). I thought I had put it in the How to Play, but if it wasn't clear, I as a designer have failed you.
I can't believe I didn't think to add a "Hey! You beat this!" box. That was 100% my bad.
The reason for the multiple colors was my attempt at customization: "Do you want to solve the puzzle with Black, Blue, Green, or Yellow? Up to you!" I must have been in a "Let's see what I can do" phase; only recently have I begun to think about adding stuff that benefits the game, not something for the heck of it!
Should I ever remake this and/or make a sequel, I will definitely keep these points in mind!

Great game! There is one glitch in the 10x10 "Gift" though, some of the numbers are missing, but other then that, great graphics; very cool, upbeat music and awesome selection.
Was let down
This came AFTER the Armor Picross games? How do you eliminate some of its best features? In Armor Picross, when all the correct boxes in a row or column are filled in, it crosses off the numbers. This game does not have that ability. I have to go back sometimes and count how many boxes i have filled. Annoying. Also, in the other games, you can click and drag to fill a long row. In this game, you must click on each one individually. Annoying. When you go to the menu in Armor Picross, it shows you which puzzles you have already solved. This one does not. Annoying.
I'm sorry but I cannot say that this is a good game since it is essentially a lower quality copy of another game.

Well, this was my first attempt at a game like this. As I've said before, if I could have, I would have made a dragging option. If I make another, I'll be sure to add some of the features from AP2, but I also don't want it to seem like a copy of that game.
Believe me, there was much more I wanted to do with this game, but I lacked the know how to fully accomplish it.

Awesome
Took me a while to figure it out... But once I did it was pretty fun... Good puzzle game
Glad you liked it. =3
