Part 2 of 2 for the first episode. The final scene in this is when I started getting more comfortable with Flash, overall it's obvious that this is an improvement from where this started. And the 2nd episode is already much cleaner, (I started using the pencil tool and I have to say I'm liking it a lot since it's creating thin lines and the quality is looking much more professional)

The first episode was an experiment for me, to see if I could actually complete one and to get familiar with Flash, now that I am more than comfortable it'll be a lot easier to make the upcoming episodes 10x better. I am only going to keep learning from the mistakes from this and will constantly keep getting better. Thanks to all that helped me and were there when I dealt with the harsh times that happened to me during the process of making this.

I'm going to say this one more time I guess, before you post please take the time to read what I wrote. Because half of the comments about negatives I already stated here. I'm not saying post only positives, no that would be pointless and arrogant. But if you're going to post please make it constructive, I started this a long time ago and I've improved a lot. And as the episode goes on it becomes pretty clear. But I wanted to keep the animation rough because it shows where I started.

The audio has issues, yeah that's a given, I also stated I was sorry about it and to bear with it for now. I post on NG because stuff is easier to get shown here. And I feel people who have been animating for years can offer me constructive criticism on how to get better. I do not respond or acknowledge reviews of "get better" "this is shit", please don't waste your time writing them because I'm not going to waste my time taking them seriously.

If you want to diss my project then whatever, but please take the time to actually read what I take the time to write to give a background on what you're about to watch.

Well I had typed out a massive commentary then my browser closed and I apologize but my patience is dead. It was a long work day for me.

Anyway, moving on.

I apologize for the audio quality, I was new to the program when I first started Flash in December. For the NG version I had to lower the quality of the audio as well as the images. I just ask you all to bear with it, I know it's rough. I have a better version that is the entire episode including the opening and ending on my production site.

Along the way I've gotten a lot of tips from friends of the trade and I learned a lot more about optimization so the file won't be so big. So for the first episode it had to be broken down into parts, once again I apologize. The 2nd episode is under way and the audio quality is already much better and leveled and the art and animation is much cleaner and smoother (pencil tool ftw).

With that disclaimer out of the way I hope you enjoy this minus the short comings.

Short Synopsis: Based loosely on the novel series of the same name. Futuristic war feel, the events in the anime happen after the 3rd book "Shattered Heaven Episode III: Serenade for the Winds." Both Earth and Mars are rebuilding under a new leadership known as the United Generation of World and is headed by a single man named Gail Contadino. 2 years after the end of the war mysterious deaths continue to occur, namely of some of the most skilled Mechanical Frame pilots from both sides. Focus at first is on the main characters of my novel and how they are dealing with the aftermath of the war and eventually them becoming targeted by this unknown source.

This is the prologue to the first season and actually does not happen until later on.

Much thanks to my cast

A great start!

It is in fact strange to watch this without seeing the first one, so it is a little hard to follow. I really have to give you credit for having one of the longest author's comments I have ever seen! You really want your fanbase to react to your work. Now, I was a little disappointed there was no action, but it was still a great cartoon. These characters seem to have a lot of depth to them even though I am just introduced to them. I like the animation too, although I do think it could use an update.

Its True its like Gundam Seed Destiny

I can see the simularities

PS: forgive me for my grammer

Flashbacks

i kept see stuff i remembered from gundam seed even the dialog and scenes were alot alike. im not saying you copied it you might have even got inspiration from it.

Good but still needs improvements.

A huge improvement from when you first started off ^^
The drawings are much better and more defined.
However, like" iamthearbiter" said, the backgrounds could do with some more work. Though the background at the beginning was really nice, it progressively got worse. I suggest at the very least putting in some ambient music to liven up the scene a bit more and to really set the atmosphere.
Generally it just needs you to go that extra mile and pay more attention to detail.
I'm not sure whether you've seen the flash called "story of khale" before, but what the author did in some of the scenes was have some minor animation going on in the background which really reflected the world that animation was set in.

The characters are all good. Though it needs just a little bit more than their dialogue to define their personality. Something simple as a mere hand gesture or the clothes that they wear etc.

But nonetheless a really good job. Keep it up!!!

OMFG

very nicely done animation was very impressive but the backgrounds could use some work like maybe a blur filter to seperate them better and smoother movements for the characters but that still keeps it up there nice. the sound well it was nice but i gotta say you need to go buy a pop filter or make one for your mic's and maybe some background music for an atmosphere that is one of the more important features in any film be it flash or real like when you had the characters in a large metal hanger there should have been a slight echo and maybe some small noises no room in any film i have ever seen has had a room with no noise but overall nice job keep it up
