I know this animation seems kind of simple, but the large file size is because it's long (sorry for the wait). I've left the extras and other features until the end of the movie. I hope it's better than the first movie I made. If you like this, I've got a sequel lined up, as soon as I can figure out how to get that tesseract to stop crashing Flash.
NOTE: The original file was 10.3 MB, which is only a little over 10MB, so to make it fit under the file size limit, I've reduced the audio quality from 24kbps to 16kbps. If you like this flash, then I may raise it back to 24kbps, if the staff would allow me to bypass the 10MB limit.
EDIT: Feature already. Thanks guys, it was much better than I expected.
EDIT: Scene selection added to the beginning, and most of the sound effects are now quieter.
If people are finding the movie too slow, it may be because your computer specs suck, or it simply runs better on flash player. Just download the .SWF and open it with flash player on your computer, and it should run faster.
The adventure makes the story
The adventure makes the story. Make the first kite construction faster, and then remove the tree scene. Just make the octagon's line break and have the octagon fly away. The beginning was rather boring which sets up impatience for what would otherwise be a great story.
Nice
The animation wasn't really that professional, but I still liked it. It showed a certain subtle elegance in its simplicity that was enjoyable throughout. Overall it was rather peaceful and aesthetic. Though the transitions between adventures with the spyglass and the sound effects were a little repetitive... you should have had some different transitions or make it into episodes or something...
A True Newgrounds Classic
I don't know if we could call it this, but this is a classic. You put a lot of hard work into it, the art and animation was smooth and great, the classic music was beautiful, and the characters and plot were interesting and clever but short. :)
Maybe next time you should try to not reuse so many sound effects and shorten a few parts just a tiny bit....
Anyway, keep it up! This is my favorite on Newgrounds yet! :D

I enjoyed this one. It was interesting to see where the mathematician would go next.
Ugh
Extremely painful to watch. The sound effects were annoying, repetitive music and boring. There were loads of times when it should've finished, but you found a way to carry on. Like at the waterfall, it should've ended, but you just HAD to add another minute. At least it was good animation.
