Ok enough with that creepiness lol I was just having some fun. This is actually my first attempt to weld 2d and 3d together in flash. It's taking forever, so I decided to release something stupid interim just for feedback.

BTW, this is my first NG entry *blush* be gentle. Really I don't care if you give me a 2.00 just don't blam me daamnnnn. For FF7's sake!!!

Thanks!

...

Really weird! It needs a story, and like some people below me said, do something about the face.
Oh i almost forgot, seriously chang the music, 'cause that was just fuckign annoying :)

rolfalmao responds:

Working on it. Thanks for the review.

Needed a quality button for...

...whenever the movie plays slowly. It happened to me because the file size is quite large and my computer is reasonably old. A quality button and a play button would of been great. (I was listening to Manic Street Preachers when the flash started to play and I thought there would be a play button :() The music loop was also quite poor. It left a pretty big gap before it played again. Either choose another track which will loop better or try to get rid of that gap in the track.

For the majority of the animation, it was quite smooth and looked pretty good. Shame it was just a short experiment. It'd be great if you tried to pull off a series (based on Final Fantasy? Your choice. Could be good) with the equipment you used to make this little experiment - fight scenes would look godly.

I think you could become a brilliant 3D artist if this was your first go. I thought for what it was, it was rather nice to look at. Try experimenting with other character and extend the length of the animation and then you'll have something much better. That, a play button, a quality button for slow computers and a better track! :P

The file size was huge so it may be best if you learnt how to compress things to a smaller size in the future too so we don't have to wait for so long for such a small movie and so that none of your submissions exceed the Newgrounds upload limit.

I'll leave you with by saying this was a nice first and shows great potential! Good luck on any future projects you may work on!

6/10.

rolfalmao responds:

Thanks for weighing in! Yeah, the movie slows down on my powerhouse computer so I can imagine how it bad would be on older systems. I dont think the quality button would be much use however since this the movie is basically an imported swf and will not be affected (only in drawn objects are effected). That said, I will do some heavy compression before I dish out the next entry. I had no idea the music loop gap would be different on different systems. The gap is hardly noticeable on my pc. Thanks for pointing that out. If the animation looks good, then this experiment is a success! I'll definitely refine it and work on improving everything you guys said. Thank you very much for your encouragement.

Uhhh...

It was... different O_o For a first time thing it was good. Next time, make the replay button actually say replay instead of "???", I had no clue what that was until I clicked it. BTW, what happened to cloud's face? It like, disappeared?

rolfalmao responds:

Thanks! Yes I know the replay button is annoying lol, but I had just finished playing this http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /308285 so I was kinda edgy lol. That's off themmenu for the next one. As for Cloud's face, well I was drawing is the eyes and mouth in flash over Cloud's head because I couldn't render them in 3d. Didn't draw them in for the still pictures lol.
