charming piece of history, very passionate work
TIMECRY - NJ Band Root Philosophy's First Music Video
Almost an entire year in production, and here we are, at the end of the road. Extreme props go to my partner and lead guitarist Edgardo Parada, who fronted not only the cash that gave me the motivation to do this video, as well as a guiding hand throughout.
I would like to thank, in addition to those in the credits, Matt James and Dave DiPasquale for invaluable support during the live action shoot.
Speaking of which, yes, this entire music video was originally shot in live action, and rotoscoped frame-by-frame, by myself, with a mouse. That's around 2-3000 individual drawings, fellas. And the production of this movie precedes the release of Waking Life by a good few months!
And speaking of individual drawings, please forgive the file size, I've optimized it as far as it can go, and believe me, with a length of more than 4 minutes, I believe I handled everything very efficiently.
Any comments, votes, and/or visits to either the band's website or mine, are greatly appreciated.
Enough of my rambling, on with the show.
charming piece of history, very passionate work
pretty good.
the animation was great, but the song wasn't...and the sound quality made it worse.
not bad
a little different, in its own original and unique way. i always like new kinds of animations. this was a cool one.
Well, now...
The animation was iffy. The band themselves sounded like they were trying to be Apex Theory or something. Not exactly my type of music, but hey, atleast they tried.
nope
biggest piece of crap ever
