good for a first game

its good enough considering its your first game but im sure your can improve the movement and make it more interesting. it seemed a bit to slow so i suggest you up the frames per second. try to make it more exciting and mabey give it a storyline.

a bit shoddy!

for a first flash game this is ok,
maybe you should add some explosion animations + sounds to when you blow up your enemy, and also when you get blown up.
the enemies should fire at you because its too easy.
and when you die you can keep firing up the top of the screen.
you should probably get another tutorial for movement because the ship wont go diagonal.
again for a first flash game this is decent but it needs more work.
last of all, keep tryin, if you keep persistent at flash youll get better and better.
maybe add a more gradients and bevels into your game to add a more realistic effect.

if you ever redo the game add this stuff and it will make it better.

Not Bad

This isn't bad for a first effort.
Something to improve, you can still fire after you receive Game Over, just a little thing but nothing major.

too simple

Can't move diagonally.

its an extrodinarlly simple game. I mean, this is newground, i dont expect the second comming of halo or microsoft flight sim, but a little more attention to gameplay would be nice.

fixing the controls, some feeling of momentium, something more complicated than a single spaceship going from right to left.

in this day and age, i expect something on par with asteroids ;p.

hmm, nostalgic somewhat

A good attempt for a first flash game. It was good for me in the way that it reminded me of old school flash games back many years ago when I was in primary school. A nice attempt, I look forward to seeing more
