pretty simple
i would add mouse aim, and make some enemies attack you, otherwise a basic game

EDIT: 1. Error found. The error happens when the music stop. There is actually nothing wrong in the code, but some computers seems to have a problem reading it.
Check if you have the latest flash player.
2. The game have been made a bit easier, but no huge modification yet. Don't panic. I will redo the game and make more story to it.
This game is made by the power of Action Script 3.0 and Adobe Flash.
My 4th flash game, and now it begin to get interesting I have followed the book of Gary Rosenweig's. I have done some bigger modifications to the game, his had only 1 level, 5 types of planes, 20 shots, 1 point for each plane. This was of course the meaning. Just show us how it's done, but it was up to the reader to modify it.
Everything you see is made by me. The code I have written(not copy-paste, you learn nothing from that). What you hear is free sound files from the net. The music is from the iMovie(Mac) library.
Took me all Easter to finnish this.
Please report bugs or other stuff. There may be a update in the future.
There are at all 4 levels if you wondered. My top score so far is 257.

I could, but in this game I have choosen the keyboard.
I was thinking about making a plane come and shoot at you, but I never came to it.
Maybe I will update the game one day.

Its fun at first but it needs something that makes you want to keep playling over and over

good game
definately has potential and it was fun and the animation was good although it was a little tough to hit those really fast moving planes and not run out of ammo

Yeah, but that is the challenge of the game, to not use up all your ammo. But do you think I should add more ammo?
I like the idea
Nice idea for the game, how you lose when you run out of ammo. Good game. Although maybe you should tweak the difficulty a bit, its quite hard :P

I loved level 3. I got a top score of 80. This is pretty fun,but not my type of game.You should put a little score board to show how much points the top 10 people have when the game is over.Pretty good.

Adding a top ten list in AS3 is harder then you think. I search through the net, looked trough a lot of stuff and in the end I found it might, might be possible with PHP.
I would really love to make it, but till now it will be your high score that will be saved as local data.
