UPDATE (3/22/08): Added increasing costs to the upgrades, increased the speed of the player, and completely changed the level design.
Defend yourself from the enemies that are trying to shrink you. Get the highest score possible through strategic upgrades!
This game was made for the fifth Jay is Games competition, which had the theme of "Upgrade." This is the first game I've published, though I've been using Flash for several years now. You can be sure to look for more games by me in the future, both here, on Newgrounds, and around the web.

I got to level 16, but then the "mouse" moved too slow and that created a big problem. Try to make more upgrades, like speed or power, and then it will be great.

Good idea
The idea was good. I liked the simplistic game play and design. Also the music was pretty good.
The up-grades u could buy weren't that great though, as the game gets boring pretty fast. There are no power-ups or anything else to give it a longer life-span, and the game gets repetitive.
It's still a good try ad it was fun for a while at least.
Soothing music, fun game
Really nicely done. The only recommendation I can think of is that the puck (or whatever you'd like to call the bit you control with your mouse) moves a little slowly... around level 10 or so, this becomes a problem. Adding a speed upgrade wouldn't have hurt. Still, a great job.
