Ok so that new people don't get discouraged by the below comment made 3 years ago ill say this.
Mactruk is the type to use cheat engines, on a flash game. This game is less about winning but more about how many waves you can survive. You have to play up to wave 100+ for it to get difficult. You can beat those waves with only 8 towers, THEN you have to start the strategics. At that time you should have maxed atleast one of each tower type not including the bonus stuff. It will ramp but by that time you're not going to be fighting any new monsters. Congratulations you've beaten every single monster available in pardus (the actual game this is based on)atleast once! No need to rage by not finishing an impossible level because in Pardus it may take you years to beat all of them. No Joke.

Astral Tower Defense is a Pardus-themed (see www.pardus.at) tower defense game, in which you must try to defend your homeworld from attacking space creatures by purchasing and upgrading weapons and special equipment. To the greatest extent possible all graphics were taken directly from Pardus, and using the Pardusian Conv/Bio/EM armor and weapon properties gives Astral Tower Defense a unique twist. A few other features include lots of maps to choose from, 80 different creeps with various special abilities, a "Hall of Fame" in which you can record your high scores, over 50 different upgrades, and more. Additional maps and other minor improvements will be added as time allows, and plans for version 2.0 are already in the works!
potentially great but actually sucks
i hate a game when the games most powerful weapons upgraded to the highest levels applied in overwhelming numbers cannot defeat the enemy hordes no matter what strategy or arrangements you apply the weapons. this game is exactly that. in that case does not make it a true game that you can win. even with a cheat engine and tons of cash to preset your weapons orientation, resistance is futile..so just surrender! graphics kinda suck, player weapons have great names that they don't live up to..it's a pity, this game that has great potential but deserves a poor rating because there is no possibility to win

Well very nice game indeed
Just that after rush 163 things get nasty quite nasty, but i guess thats the normal difficult of the game, its pretty solid and good to prepare leave 15 minutes return to prepare towers and leave again.
boring
i like tower defense games, but in this one the graphics werent good, it was slow and it got boring even after the first level earth.
