n e ways this is my film where i experimented with stopmotion, greenscreen, then flash backrounds. just thought i would share and find out what the general reaction is.
obviously this isnt a masterpiece like alot of work on this site, but constructive critisism would be great.

Iv'e liked clay since the ..

...the old Mister Bill show. Although this isn't a classic,..it finishes better then it starts. Not bad.

It was good...

but it wasn't great.

I tried to comment yesterday

I liked the clay characters look & movements. I reviewed this yesterday & said something like this about your lighting problems. ( I do lighting in motion picture for a living)
About your refection problems from your greenscreen. When you use a greenscreen you need to either back light or , rim light the subject. You can often simply use a white bounce card(s) to bounce light from your key light to the sides of the subject. Even if the white cards (these can simply be a stiff white cardboard etc. either white& shiny or a "soft white') are in your frame when you shoot you can simply garbage mat over the frame leaving only the cut out of your character surrounded by green & then you key that out.
Another way is to get you subject further away from the greenscreen.
When lighting if you can get some diffusion material to put in front of your light sources to difuse IE: 'soften' the light this allows it to "wrap" around a subject much better.
Good luck , PM me if there is any info That is unclear or if you need ideas on where to get diffussion gels.

great advice, thnks v much! my tutors at college only specialise in 3d aplications like lightwave etc, so couldnt really give me the detailed advice u provided. thnx again

not bad

at first I didn't really think much of it but once the hand came out of the box, I was interested. it actually made me laugh towards the end.

elliot2502 responds:

elliot2502 responds:
