Lonely Eric - Episode 2

Share Collapse

Author Comments

This is the second episode of Lonely Eric, and is again set in the dismal and grey Knoxley Heath estate. Here he sets out to stock up on his prescription, but bumps heads with dangerous aging spiv Chemical Glen, who puts his day on a different track entirely.

I did this mainly in one day (sarcastic laughs and stale buns will be thrown at the first person to say "it shows"), kept in by the rain and a bit of a cough and a cold.

It was a stupid day.

top banana

i think on the whole i liked episode 2 more than episode1, but ep1 featured the line "you exist in a desmond-free continuum" which nearly killed me. those mitten consciences freak me out.

the mouth-animation- yea, i thought the same as everyone else, but well, yknow, you did it in a day, init mush?

hhaha

british people have funny accents
love the blackn white whole thing. very stylish

Grebn responds:

funny accents?! Well, fair enough I guess. I'm not sure if its the accents that are funny or just the fact we talk so much about tea and the M1.

w00t!

Mate this is astounding! Really beautifully made. Best aspect: voice acting. Really terrific.

Grebn responds:

Well thankyou sir! But I was only acting for Eric - Chemical Glen is what I really sound like. And Wezz, apparently.

There's episode 1 as well somewhere; it's not as long, but my sister plays a sterling aging slapper.

Hmm.

Not bad for one day. Your voices are spot on, I would only suggest animating the mouth movements to the voices a little better. Aside fomr that - bravo.

Grebn responds:

Thankyou! I do agree with the mouth movements; they are a bit slapdash. My resolution is to take more time with them; I've been watching some other animations where they're done much better and it makes such a difference.
