Mr Walters lost his stash of carrots, and your job is to help him defeat the king who took them! Use your grappling hook to swing around and complete each objective on the level. Help friends get home, get yourself the elevator, and shoot for the achievements if all that is too easy for you!

* Use the mouse and the arrow keys/WASD to control Mr. Walters.
* Autosave feature will automatically update your progress and save it.
* Quality toggle is recommended for users whose computers are bothered by the processing.

Every once in a while I think of a game, but what it is on paper and in the Flash program are two completely different animals. Something as simple in concept as a swinging rope is a lot harder than it looks to program in Flash. So when I approached the coding for Mr. Walters Grand Excurision, I had no clue what I was getting myself into.

Flash programming and physics are strange. For one, Flash uses two different graphing systems (Cartesian and polar) to calculate values and it causes a lot of headaches in that regard. Also, the idea of applying angular momentum is nuts! Not being anywhere close to a physics major, I was definitely tested in Trig and Physics for this project.

I love Flash, I love programming, I love art... but by golly this project was a lot of work. There are so many little finicky aspects of making a terrain engine that is not tile-based, combined with a swinging mechanism that allows you to swing from any surface.

So just as a word of advice, to anyone who is a programmer or aspiring to work in Flash ... keep a look out for the pitfalls of simplicity on paper, complexity in the environment. And be wary of grappling hook games :).

So here it is, hope you enjoy it. I'm going to take a long nap now. Leave reviews, I love getting feedback :).

Run Rabbit Run!

This game was pretty fun to play, simply because it had such a good attitude with it. It was not as fun or creative as some of your other stuff, but it was definitley worth playing. It is cute to see that big rabbit just fly around everywhere. It did annoy me a bit with how I was not able to jump and I had to use that grappling hook. At least you went out of your way to create a really cute setting with the little carrots and everything. You and ArmorGames always work to make some great things.

ok..

it's a good idea, and the graphics and music are fine. but i found the control system a bit hard. the rabbit was too slidy, he couldn't jump, and the grapple thing didn't work sometimes.

It's only good compared to everything else.

I like how you're sticking to your roots, and I see the efforts of the physics, but the game was too short and the boss was a joke. I'd give it a 10 if there was a known sequel or something as it's a sign of great things to come.
