[Z] A Guide To Buttons...

Author Comments

**EDIT: So I've been looking through the reviews, and everyone has been helpful, excluding one person, telling me how to improve... thanks for that. One of the biggest complaints was the buttons, I will make sure that I'll change them. The graphics will also improve.

Oh, and to anyone who's wondering, you ahve to write the AS Manually, so you'll learn it better. No Copy and Pasting.
:]

This may be short, but it sure is helpful... I hope.
I forgot to add some things, such as the "Turn Music Off" button, so people wouldn't hear Tetris Blaring. I also forgot the back button. I'm working on getting both of these...

Don't be harsh, first tutorial.

Ok...

It's ok, the graphics where pretty good, but you should explain more kinds of buttons. And explain the; up, over, down and hit frames.

Take a look at my button tutorial

:]
I've seen it already.
Lol.
It inspired me to make a tutorial.

very good, movie.

it was a very good movie, and helped about buttons use. but why you didnt had the text of actionscr. made in more copy do able, in order for the user to get the AS, and copy it directly. also ,why the buttons wherent more larger in area, and had small space? it should be bigger, in order to be easier to press on that. ofcourse its good already, but im noting this, so that in case people dont like it you can change the buttons. also, nice song. good flash, make more tuts, sir

Not bad, but not good either.

Your intentions are good, but I knew that if i were just learning how to make buttons, i would need a little more detail. Put more pictures like of actionscript and what your button should look like step-by-step, and make the "next" buttons easier to click by double clicking on the button in flash and making the "hit" frame a rectangle that covers the button.

Work on your Buttons Some More

Ironically enough, your buttons weren't very good and unclickable. You forgot to put a filler in the background, so only the outside of your buttons were counted, and they often flashed on and off of the _over state. It wasn't awful though. I guess, for a beginner.

Great!

This was a really great tutorial. I was thinking of making flash, and this was just something very well presented, and something really cool. This was a great tutorial, and judt keep up the awsome work! :]
