I don't know why, but I really did end up enjoying this game! I think the best part is probably how it worked so well with its simplicity. It was still fairly difficult. You always have to have some of that at least. Yeah, I do think it could have been more visually appealing. I still recommend it.
It was weird to see these shapes just hanging in mid air. You don't see that in Tetris. It was based on Tetris, obviously. It certainly kept me entertained to keep on playing until I did. I think I just got unlucky at the end.
Awesome twist on Tetris. Once you figure out how to use the power-blocks this game takes on a whole new strategy. I think the slow speed helps at first because it gives time to get the feel.
Thanks for your comment and you have the highest score for now. :)
A puzzle game no doubt.
Well, I have to say that this is definatly a puzzle game. And that's not a bad thing, except for the fact that the game moves so terribly slow in the beginning that your almost automatically turned off. The high scores was a nice touch, but this game really didn't have enough in it to entertain me to really go and get a high score. All in all, an okay, but boring submission.
I didn't want it too fast in the beginning because many casual players may need some time to figure out how it works. If it is too fast right from the start it could be pretty frustrating IMHO.
I agree with what others have said, my only additional comment is to use more contrast with text. A light background with white text makes a person have to strain to read. Bolding the text helps like you did, but not enough...whenever you use text, try to enusre you use a contrasting background to make the letters stand out and easier to read. great job on this and hope you do imporve it.
On my monitor the contrast is pretty good. But maybe I can increase it to make it better.
Yes a very intersting game! Thx allot
I'm glad you like it, I see you currently have the highest score. :)
