this game is cute :3

Here's what I think could have been improved:

First stage:
-The left and right keys really aren't necessary to the controls in this stage. You could have omitted them, sped up the level, and allowed the player to focus solely on the jump button. That would have resulted in much more twitching of the fingers and much more excitement.

Second stage:
-The controls were very fluid, but not balanced to the speed of the sidescrolling. This was frustrating, as was the fact that I missed so many candy canes simply because I couldn't tell how far back or forward they were. Scaling the size of the candy cane sprites would have fixed this problem.

Third stage:
-This was the best stage in my opinion. The only criticism I can make of it is that the player should have started higher on the screen, in order to quickly figure out the strength of gravity without having to lose a life.

Overall:
-I like the idea that grabbing the candy canes is what makes the music play. However, if this gameplay mechanic had been more pronounced, this game could have stood apart from other snowboarding/sidescrolling/helicopter games in a way that it does not now.
