Pretty good challenging though maybe set difficulty levels in future
T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house, every creature was stirring, tortured screams of a mouse. Skeletons hung by the neck cos they didn't take care, for Hector his yuletide present is a gallery of scare.
Happy Scary Holidays from all at Gimme5games!

Controls? the game isn't showing me anything but a repeating intro...
I found this game to be good, but I felt it could have been better. By "better", I of courser mean easier. It did motivate you to go pretty far with it. The part with the lamp was always harder than it looked. I think that is an interesting part, though. The music's fairly haunting.
I thought it said "Greed" at first. Yeah, I knew better. I like the little yells as you fall to your death. Are those jingle bells in the song? The games really do get harder.
Fourth part in the series is both better and worse
I really like the Phantom Mansion series, but the 4th installment left me a little cold. Yes, the puzzles are as challenging as ever (especially the last one...that was insane!), but the magic lamp was the first "installment-specific puzzle enhancer" that I felt didn't work well. It added an extra element, but I just felt that on most puzzles it either didn't add to the difficult, or it became extremely difficult because you couldn't see the illuminated squares until you were right next to them, sometimes with monsters chasing you. It was by no means a broken or bad addition, but it wasn't as fun as the magic doors or the cursed floors. Still a great game, though, and I love how the puzzles continue to get more and more difficult.

Awesome part to the series, BUT...
Leave the ads 'til the end, no-one uses them anyway. And in 'Thousand Yard Stairs', on one particular spot, the whole game freezes up and force-quits the program0.
