You can do quite some good animating I think but it was just a bit boring kind of short not very spectacular action or humor, but you did the weapon desing very well and the sounds well ok too.

Nice art, good weapon design, but scripting not very well, and you ahd problem with pre-loader, and i think music behind the sounds will be great.

Not the worst I've seen...

But not the best, either. It's done in a simplistic style, and over-all the work shows a lack of polish. That said, I'm sure it's largely because the animator is new to the gig. Time and practice, friend, is the way to go.

The animation's just a wee tad bit choppy at points, and as you made your, uh, ballman using the same shade of black as the entrance tunnel, it's rather difficult to see what he's up to when he's standing in front of it.

Vary up the colors a bit(IE, learn to use shading to it's maximum potential), work on making the animation a bit smoother, and as someone mentioned before, a touch of music(something fitting the scene) would help a bit. Also, should you get a chance, try downloading sound effects better than what comes standard with the program.

It's a decent introductory attempt, mind. But you need a lot of practice yet.
