i liked it was a fun time killer
Defeat your rival nation's fleet by building trade, investment, patrol, and attack ships. With all tedious portions of this game being automatic, you are free to concentrate your entire strategy on two things: what to build and what orders to give to your ships. Be an excellent military admiral. Build a high score no one else can compete with!

Cool
It's an interesting game, it was just really laggy. Maybe my computer.
Try playing in a pop-up version instead of the black-out version?
It may be your video card. My game is really slow for me, too, on black-out play mode instead of pop-up play mode.
hmm
it had the potential to be a great game. however the instructions were not completely clear and i found it hard to understand what was going on and how masts/sails etc actually effected what was going on.
Yeah, I didn't make it easy to find help and I didn't put in tooltips either.
It's my first flash-anything ever. I just learned actionscript. I'm a 7+ year VB programmer who made Dragon's Era MUD at http://tenko.110mb.com/, although in flash I'm just starting out.
So I really wanted to just see that I could actually make a flash game first before I concentrated on the various improvements.
My next game, a tower defense game, will be easier to understand with tooltips installed.
The Idea is great, although it's very hard, even on the Easy mode.
Keep going that great work, mayby there will be a second part? Another Graphics, Multiplayer mode or a story mode ....
I can see something like that, or at least similar. I like making games like these, you'll probably see something of the same genre but with a different time and place.
I've got ideas to do a number of different strategy games including tower defense games, RPG/Gladiator games, card games, and starflight / star control games.
Cool.
Very cool, but hard even on easy. Or maybe I'm just to brain fried to get it it now
I may have an easier version updated to funny-games.biz soon.
But wouldn't that make the game a bit less entertaining? Good games are challenges, right?
Although, if you want an easier game you can try finding a map which has several ports really close to your home port and very few ports close to the CPU port. On this kind of map you have an extra trading advantage over your enemy.
